Dear Red Raider Family,

I want to thank each of you personally for your patience, understanding, and support during the campus closure last week. I deeply appreciate everyone’s cooperation in dealing with this challenging experience, and I’m grateful for the dedication and hard work that has been invested by so many of our staff and off-campus partners to help restore services and get our campus back to normal.

I want to assure each of our students, faculty and staff that your safety and health are our top priorities. The cause of this event is still under investigation, but while that investigation proceeds, we've taken every precaution to prevent any similar incidents.

All utilities that were initially impacted have been replaced. Specialized crews have been working around the clock to conduct comprehensive inspections of all campus systems, from residence halls to academic buildings. Every facility underwent rigorous testing protocols to make sure we were ready to reopen campus.

I am proud of the resilience and commitment of the Red Raider family as we navigated this situation. You have my deepest admiration and appreciation.
