The Intellectual Property Clinic
Each year, the Center for Biodefense, Law & Public Policy hosts an Intellectual Property Clinic at the Regional WRCE Meeting. The purpose of the clinic is to promote the NIAID goal of the development of biodefense countermeasures products, including vaccines, drugs, diagnostics, and related products which are the primary product focus of the WRCE, through assisting WRCE researchers with legal questions pertaining to Intellectual Property rights associated with their work.
