Your Digital Valuables
Encryption is the process of encoding your personal or business sensitive information, so that only authorized parties can read it. You should use encryption to keep information in files and folders private. Be sure to back-up the encryption certificate that is created the first time you encrypt a file or folder. If you lose your encryption certificate, you will not be able to access the files you have encrypted.
Backing up files located on your computer and other devices is the process of archiving the data on a computer so that it may be restored at a later time. If your computer crashes, you will be able to restore your files and computer settings to the way it was when you backed it up. We recommend that your back up data is located in a secure location that prohibits unauthorized access.
