University’s talented group collects 58 awards at the annual Best of District IV CASE competition.
Designers, videographers, writers and photographers led the way Wednesday (Oct. 23) as Marketing & Communications at Texas Tech University captured a wide variety of honors at the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) Best of District IV Awards.
CASE recognizes outstanding work promoting and saluting the importance and impact of higher education.
Overall, Marketing & Communication had 58 pieces of content recognized, ranging from the university’s signature publication Evermore magazine to world-class events to compelling marketing campaigns and engaging storytelling. It is by far the most sweeping recognition the office has earned in the competition, having claimed 19 awards in 2022 and 18 the year before.
“This significant achievement underscores and affirms the efforts of our team to create outstanding work at scale,” said Matt Dewey, vice president of marketing and communications. “Every day, we tell the stories of Texas Tech in powerful and compelling ways, advancing the mission of the university and reminding everyone of all that is possible at this special place.”
Texas Tech’s designers earned awards in the environmental graphics category for “Remembering Columbia: An Evermore Experience,” and in the invitations category for “Texas Tech at Arrowhead: An Evermore Experience,” as well as in the magazines and periodicals category for Evermore magazine. Likewise, the magazine was recognized in the general/alumni interest (four-year colleges and universities, printed twice a year category).
Additionally, “Remembering Columbia” was recognized in the single-day, in-person special event category.
